My humble beginning started in 1989 at Bellflower Bicycles where I gained experience with maintenance, repairs, and parts installations with the mentorship of Bud Camble (owner), Greg Gardia, and Juan Aka Big Mike. I worked at Los Alamitos Bike Shop under Bill Hall (owner) and Sean McKinney (manager). I also spent time working for Cycle Werks with Paul (owner), and training under Joey (manager). They shaped the foundations of how I work on bicycles today. Throughout my career in the bicycle industry, I rode BMX professionally for 15 years, doing commercials, demonstrations around the world, and even competing as an X-games athlete. After my professional BMX career, I focused on pro bike builds and more detailed repairs.
